The Trailer: In
a frightening show of starting power, Burnt Hills put up a result at
Guilderland two weeks ago that rated a couple TR points higher than the
Spartans' closing average last year, a pretty rare feat for a team. The
other Spartans of Queensbury led the way in the Wayne Pre-States race 2,
but they are rated behind the two Section 9 rivals Cornwall and Goshen
who are already getting set for their showdown to see who goes to
States. Section 1 is also heating up with five teams rated among the top
16 teams. Out west, East Aurora looks strong for Section 6, and the
return of Nathan Lawler will give Pittsford Mendon a shot in the leg for
the Vikings' battle with Honeoye Falls-Lima and Brockport..
