The Trailer: It's
going to be a challenge keeping the two Maple's straight this year, as
reigning champ Maple Grove.and Maple Hill finished 1-2 in the Wayne
Pre-States race 4. But over in race 2 a pack of Beavers provided bad
news for the Maple squads by taking 4th among the Class B teams and
zooming to the top of the ratings. Addison, Sauquoit Valley, and Lake
Placid also had solid performances, though not necessarily with full
squads. Partial lineups in a leg stretcher meet for most of the Class D
teams means that the rankings stay close to the preseason estimates.
