Here come the heavy hitters. Emily Phillipeddes (Greenwich, CT) will lead the field, fresh off her 2:10.88 at Loucks. Two more big names from the Loucks 800m is Emily Young (West Genesee) at 2:14.71, and a Kelsey Chmiel (Saratoga) who can surprise at any seed. Right on their tails at 2:15 low is both Edena Sanchez (Amsterdam) and Jessica Donald (Tully). All-in-all, there are eleven seeds under 2:20 heading into the final. |

Chmiel and Phillppedes comes back from the 800m into the 1500,and both will be chasing Hannah Reale (Shenendehowa), who clocked 4:26.88 at her home invitational, good for US #3. Her teammate, Julia Zachgo, will be joining her in the final, as well as 8th grader Brooke Rauber (Tully). |
