When the Spring Season began, we learned of an amendment to q former rule that had been on the books for quite awhile. Previously, athletes were only allowed to qualify for Spring States if they hit the State Standard the Friday of Penn Relays. Three years ago, that was pushed back a day, so that the Girls competition could be included as well. For the first time this year, that was pushed all the way back to the first day of the season. You could now qualify at any point. See the Standards here.
