4. Bronxville (C ) (#5 previous week) Class C champions, 7th state title for the Broncos. The continuing improvement in the health of Flannery helped get this team to earn an invite to the Federation meet on Saturday. Bubble team for the NYS top 10 overall list.
5. Ursuline (A) (#4 previous week) #6 ranked A team in NYS, finished 4th at the state meet. Katie Sullivan led the team with a top 25 finish over the hills of
6. Suffern (AA) (#6 previous week) Ranked #20 in AA in NYS this week. Shelby Greany ran to a very good 2nd. place finish at the New York State Meet on Saturday.

8. Brewster (A) (#7 previous week) #16 in NYS class A this week. Had 3 girls at the state meet.
9. White Plains (AA) (#9 previous week) Freshman, Elizabeth Trelstad, in her first state meet, finished 31st in the very tough class AA race.

A Girls (previous week rankings in parenthesis)
1. Ursuline (1) 4th place finish at the state meet and only losing Sullivan from this line-up for next year. She will be missed but the others are ready to move up.

3. Brewster (3) Team will return 2 great leaders next year in Munn and 8th grader Bottalico. They finished together at the state meet in top 40.
4. Horace Greeley (4) This team will reload for next year and be ready to try to get back to that #1 spot they have occupied before.
5. Somers (5) Losing only 1 senior from this group. They should be motivated to make a big jump next year.

2. Nanuet (2) 8th grader, Megan Young, looked very strong finishing 14th in the B race at the state meet. She is certainly a runner to build a team around for next year. Freshman, Deanna Felicissimo, finished in the top 75 at the state meet as well. #13 in NYS Class B ranks this week.

5. Pelham (3) Senior, Margaret Larkin finished in the top 80 at the state meet to end her high school XC season in style.

4. Dobbs Ferry (4) Represented by Freshman, Sarah King, finishing 22nd. at the state meet. Ranked #24 in NYS this week class C.
5. Hastings (5) 5th place finish at Sectionals.

1. Haldane (1) Represented Section 1 at the NYS meet on Saturday. Shauna Kalantri led the team with a top 90 finish. .

1. Suffern (AA) (#1 previous week)Finished 3rd in the AA race at the New York State Championships. Taking on the powers of Shenendehowa and Fayetteville Manlius is not an easy feat. Shenendehowa is the #1 ranked team in the

6. Brewster (A) (#6 previous week) Represented at the state meet by John Carr and his brother, Charlie. They finished together in 64th and 65th.Team is ranked #11 this week in NYS class A.
7. Mahopac (AA)(#7 previous week) Sophomore McDonough finished 50th in the very competitive AA race on Saturday.
8. Byram Hills (B) (NR previous week) #14 ranked team in NYS this week for Class B. Team finished 9th in the B race at the state meet.

10. Irvington (C ) (#10 previous week) A great 3rd. place finish at the New York State meet on Saturday with the front running duo of Saliani and Mathews finishing in 7th and 12th in the race. #5 ranked team in NYS in Class C this week.

1. Suffern ( 1)This team followed through on their plan and they succeeded in winning the section 1 title. A great way to finish the season, by getting invited to the Federation meet this weekend.

1. Byram Hills ( 1) Finished the season well and earned their trip to the state meet.

4. Nanuet ( 4) beaten for 3rd in a tie-breaker at 156-156 to Ardsley. .

2. Dobbs Ferry (2 ) Wortner brothers ran well at the state meet and now will think ahead to next fall and what they need to do to win the sectional meet.
3. Pawling (3 ) 3rd. place and no seniors in the top 5, one only an 8th grader. The future looks bright for this team.
4. Bronxville (4 ) 4th place with freshman Flannery and senior Hutton earning spots on the starting line at the state meet to represent the Broncos. With 3 freshman, a sophomore and a 7th grader in the top 7 this team will be working hard this summer.

Class D ( previous week ranking in parenthesis)
1. Haldane (1) Earned a trip to the state meet for the first time, will this motivate them to repeat next year?
2. Keio (1) Not knowing the course may have cost this team another sectional title, however they should be motivated now to train hard this summer and look to reclaim their teams title.
3. Alexander Hamilton (3) A good start this year for a rejuvenated program. If they can keep the momentum going and get more kids out they could be dangerous next year in class D.
4. Blind Brook(4) This team has the numbers to do well, they need to commit to some summer running and know what race they are in when sectionals role around.
5. Children’s Village (5) Once again get 2 boys to qualify for the state meet. This team makes good progress every year and could soon be a bonafide title contender in the D ranks.
