Shayla Sanders, who ran a 123 Speed Rating to win the PSAL City champs in XC, came out of nowhere to put a serious threat on Lydia Olivere (Padua, DE), an NXN Finalist, and Manhattan Letter Race Winner. Sanders stayed on Olivere through 1500m, and carried through the pace through the line. Could we see a real challenge to the 1500m title at City Champs this year? Sanders looks to be the real deal.
