State of the Action: Big races produce big performances.  Brooke Rauber was the top seed in the state by 30seconds, but that wouldn't stop Brynne Wright from making a go at the lead.  The pair wrestled the lead through two miles, pulling Wright through the best race of her season.  But with a State Title on the line, Rauber gave an extra push in the final 200m, extending away from the close danger.  A harder fought battle than expected, Rauber continues the three year streak of a Section 3 athlete claiming the Class D crown.
