One Last Run On The Regional Course Before Championship Season - Section 1 Coaches Recap

Boys Race 1

Ryan Gallagher (Briarcliff) used his knowledge of the course to hold off the top three from Saratoga.  He ran to the fastest time of the day by 20secs.  Saratoga brought in the next three spots, with sophomore Brendan Dearie rounding out the Top 5 for Saint Anthony's.

Boys Race 2

The only athlete under 17mins in his race, Sean Murray (John Jay-East Fishkill) took home the win.  Jemar Ortega (Nyack) gave cahse throughout, but it was the final surge that got Murray the win.

Boys Race 3

A breakout race for first time XC runner Matt Politis (Pearl River), after a middling start to the season.  This will be the course he will be fighting for a bid to States on, and as the only athlete under 17mins for Sec1 Class B, his chances are rising.   Behind him was Brendan Foley (Arlington), who would be fighting for the team points, finishing second on a tie-breaker.
