Noah Affolder Wins, Breaks Own Course Record at McQuaid

Nothing has stopped Noah Affolder this season. Not even his 2015 self.

The Carlisle senior took first in the Varsity Seeded AAA race at the McQuaid Invitational in Rochester, New York on Saturday. Affolder, who set the course record last year as a member of the Carthage High School team, bettered that record by two seconds, running 14:12 for the win.

His brother Sam Affolder---the only two Carlisle runners making the trip to NY---placed third in 14:53.30, just .30 off second place Stephen Schulz of Liverpool.
