Girls Class A
The Trailer: The first week of the rankings for Class A is mainly just a repeat of the listings that were presented in the preseason. The first two to three weeks have been used by the big teams for many different purposes to prepare for the season, but there have been few full-out competitions and almost no team is posting very high speed ratings. Week 2 will begin the sorting-out process following the big Pre-States meet plus the huge slate of top meets being held this Saturday. Though they have not ridden their relatively high speed ratings far up in the rankings yet, those teams that have been blazing in the early season will likely get a big boost next week if they take care of business. Shenendehowa, West Genesee, and Liverpool are three of a very small list of teams that are already exceeding their preseason "returning runners" score, and that bodes very well for their upward mobility in the future.
