This Year's Outlook |
The
Friars picked up second straight CHSAA and Federation crowns and then
finished a ways back in 4th at NXN-NY, a year after making the trip to
Nationals. Now with the top 5 graduated from last year's team, a big
rebuilding project is needed to get back up to the top. The top three
include sophomore Matthew Payamps who took a top 20th place in the CHSAA
championship, plus seniors Dutch Schultz and Sean Vierling. St.
Anthony's will be fielding a lineup that is about 13 TR points behind
last year's stellar group in the preseason, so the goal here is likely
to first just get back within striking range of Xavier in the CHSAA. |
