An interesting reversal from the Indoor State Meet, where Lanae-Tava Thomas was unstoppable over 55m. Now Outdoors, and it's runner up Halle Hazzard who has been dominating the short sprint. Consistently under 11.9, Hazzard has been pushing towards 11.6. Thomas has been catching up in recent weeks, but she may need to break the Soph State Record of 11.78 to be in contention. Charnice Anderson dipped under the 12sec mark for the first time at Cities, and makes herself a threat as well. Tapestry frosh Nia Stevens has come onto the scene in 2016, and could make it a 1-2 sweep for the Section 6 school, with teammate Taylor Hunter. | ||||
