The Indoor State Meet Bids Farewell To Cornell In Record Fashion

State of the Action: Warwick may very well be the only public school team that has broken 8mins in the 4x800m for the past 15 years.  But another thing is true of the purple wave: never count them out at the State Championships.  The relay that only went 8:15 at State Quals to make it to Cornell, came through with a big season best of about four seconds to take home the title over the former National Leaders from West Islip.  Much of that comes from the seconds fastest split of the night coming from anchor Nick Pacelli, who passed on individual events he qualified for.
