The Indoor State Meet Bids Farewell To Cornell In Record Fashion

State of the Action: There seemed to be some trouble for the Public Schools in the Hurdles.

The top two contenders to top seeded Alyssa Sandy both saw misfortune in the qualifying heats.  Aviana Goode, who has hit 8.00 this season, false started in the trials, while defending State Champ Victoria Jones-Alleyne had an off race in the semis'.  Her off race could be rightfully attributed to her fall in the 4x200m at the qualifier, that bruised her collarbone.

In their absence, the PSAL went 1-2-3 in the hurdle final, CHSAA with two more in the top 8.  US #8 Alyssa Sandy came out on top, the only girls breaking 8secs, but it came down to speed and recovery after the final hurdle, as it was a dash to the line.
