The Great State Meet Preview: Indoor 2016

State of the Action: Many of the name are the same from last year, but will the story be.

Victoria Jones-Alleyne upset the seeding in 2016, coming from behind to capture the State Title, and keep it at New Rochelle for another year.  The challenge is greater, however, this year.

Alyssa Sandy was then the newcomer. It was her first season over hurdles for Paul Robeson. But she is now a seasoned veteran, dropping her time down to 7.88 at the Eastern Champs.  She's the only girl under 8secs, and by a significant margin.  She is clearly the name to beat, but it has happened before.

As always, Aviana Goode is right on her heels, and is looking to get under that 8second barrier before high school is over.  Shayla Broughton and Paula Salmon represent the best the city has to offer in the event, and will be right in the mix for the title.
