Alan Webb
is the only high school boy ever to break four minutes in the mile
indoors, in any circumstances. He also has an opinion that his
two-member club is about to double in size. Drew Hunter
was a little more reticent about the possibility being realized this
weekend, telling us on the podcast that whether or not he broke four at
this particular meet, he was more focused on the process than the
outcome. We're treading in unexplored waters here. No high school
boy has ever broken 8:00 in the indoor 3K, so we don't know what exactly
Hunter's 7:59 last weekend forebodes.
