10 2003 Sarah McCurdy SR Brightwaters, NY
11 842 Charlene Lipsey JR Hempstead, NY
12 509 Meghan Brown SR New Rochelle, NY
OUTLOOK: Chanelle Price is in the race and is a heavy favorite with a 2:02.38 outdoor time to her credit and a 2:07.30 indoor time this season (flat track). It looks like a race for 2nd. Sarah McCurdy was the NSIC Champ last winter and 4th outdoors in 2:06.96. Miller Bedell has run 2:51 1000m this season and 2:08.84 last spring. Phyllis Francis has run the 600m in 1:29.65, the 2nd best ever, so she's right there as well. Welch ran 2:09.67 last spring. Reese has run 2:10 and split 2:07, but she may opt for the mile here instead, though she did just win the NYS 1000m title in 2:52 flat track and is a three time Millrose Qualifier |

OUTLOOK: Cory McGee was 2nd at Millrose in 2006 and 2007. Reese is the topped ranked runner in the race this season at 4:52.65. Mack's run 4:54.86, Maguire 4:56.02, Linnell 4:56.40 1600m, Greany 4:55.54, McCurdy 4:58.83 (should be in the 800m instead), Banfich is a Footlocker Finalist, Francis 4:46.74 1500m with a lot more in her (slow track), and Marshall, the newly crowned NYS Champ who's run 4:55.00. Not sure about Menlove. Looks like it could be wide open with no clear favorite. |

Hardwick has a 9:57 3K to her credit this season. Stephens has run a 4:56 mile this year. Lane looked very good at NY States last weekend but so did Greany. It's hard to pick this one. |

OUTLOOK: Banfich is a Footlocker Finalist along with Lane. Briasco is a talent who pushed the pace last year before fading a bit. She did the same at NON last spring in the freshman mile. This race isn't loaded but there could always be some surprises. This would be an interesting choice for Lane ater running the mile and 2 mile the last few years. Would be a very nice way to cap a brillian HS carreer for the Penn State bound senior. |

OUTLOOK: Bernier has a 3000m timeof 16:10 and won the NIN last year. Davis has gone 7:15 for 1500m and is looking for some redemption after missing out on states after a DQ at her qualifier. Dutkowski has gone 7:20 for 1500m and can def get out with them and mix it up. Katz is also strong and can go under 7:20 for 1500m. Vaskyte might be able to win the thing as her 7:12 1500m is the 2nd best time in the country. |

Suffern has Greany on the anchor and Warwick has either Pennings or Greibesland. Suffern will have Jen Clayton on the 400m leg but Warwick will have Claire Pettit on the 800m leg. Holy Names has a great team as well and should be right in the mix. They just missed the National Record in December in the 4x1500m relay. Immaculat Heart has run 12:00 already and Burnt Hills has run 11:53 at Yale, so expect both of them to have shot. Burnt Hills looked great at States last weekend. OUTLOOK: Cardozo could be the favorite in this one. The Armory is their own track and even though they didn't do their best last week at States, expect them to do well. The only question is how fresh they will be for this. Bronxville ran 9:10 and DIDN'T qulify for states, as Suffern beat them, so both of those squads are capable of winning. Westfield ran 9:12 at their state meet so a few more seconds on The Armory track could help them. East Meadow 9:22, Pope John 9:19, Burnt Hills 9:20, Ward Mellville 9:22, Lincoln Sudbury (Wicked) 9:16. It's a loaded field and it's anyone's race. Immaculate Heart has run 9:16

OUTLOOK: I like Burnt Hills here. They all looked fantastic at states and this is a perfect race for them. Ward Mellville has two really good legs and could mix it up. Bronxville is always dangerous with Flannery, Clarke, Miere, and Hudson. They pushed Holy Names in the 4x15 in December. Never count out a tough Shen team and Arlington has a really good XC team so they might be able to place as well. I don't know the NJ schools as well so their could be a sleeper in there, namely Colts Neck. Ridgefield, CT is a strong squad as well. Glastonbury has run a good DMR and was a very strong XC team as well. |

OUTLOOK: Hard to pick against Cardozo here though Motor City (Mumford, MI) could surprise. Pope John was a fantastic SMR last spring. Racer (West Charlotte, NC) looks good as they have run 1:42 for the 4x200 this year at Virginia Tech. Bay Shore has McCurdy on the end, who ran 2:06 open last spring. Dalilah Muhammad, the World Youth 400m hurdle champ with a 57.09 IH PR will be running the anchor for Cardozo. NY-NY-NC-MI-VA-NJ . Someone from another section will most likely get on the podium. |

Clayton has jumped 20-00.25 on this runway and if she can recapture some of that magic, she'll have a shot. Butts also jumped 20-00 this year at teh VA State Champs. Laurence Beaudet could be a contender but it's hard to find info on her. Alitta Boyd is also a huge talent and will be in the mix. |
