State of the Action: Four State Champs will do battle on the hallowed ground of Van Cortland Park.  Maria Coffin is the top returner from last year, but only enters the race as the second seed.  NJ Champ Alyssa Aldridge has been having a stellar season, and only finished two slot behind Coffin last year at this race.  Elenor Lawler is the only other returner, but will have to step up up to the competition to secure a spot.  Jackie Gaughan won the New Hampshire MOC by quite a margin, and it will be interesting to see how she responds when pushed.  The same for the MA State Champ Grace Connolly, who can run with the best of them.

The rest of the field is right in there.  Olivia Elston represents the lone New Yorker in the Top Ten, and could make a jump when needed.  This race will be competitive for those last few spots.
