New York College Runners Go Big at 2015 Nationals

NCAA D2 - Regionals Wrap-up

Women

Summary: A relatively huge number of NY women's runners qualified for D2 Nationals as two NY schools earned spots for the championship in Joplin, MO on November 21 to help the state push the total runners payload to 13. Again as with the guys, Edinboro PA accounted for three NY slots among the women from the Atlantic regional. But with Roberts Wesleyan and St. Thomas Aquinas finishing 2nd and 3rd in the East to qualify for Nationals, 10 more NY runners got their tickets. Top finisher was actually from another NY school Daemen, as Mackenzie Donahue grabbed one of the three at-large places with a 3rd in the East, and also finishing in the top 10 with her was Pavilion's former state champion Elizabeth Valento, now with Roberts Wesleyan.
