New York College Runners Go Big at 2015 Nationals

Summary:  At Westfield MA for the NJCAA D3 Nationals, Mohawk Valley CC again finished 2nd to Harper College of IL, but this time the gap was about 40 points less than last year. The Hawks' frontrunner and NY guy Zakaria Djouma finished 1st, and Suffolk CC's Christopher Swenson was the top runner from an NY XC program.

The Mohawk Valley CC Hawks might have been runners-up to Harper in the NJCAA D3 championship, but top guy Zakaria Djouma (no. 195, in green) was the individual champ with a sizzling time 26:15.1.
