| To call the PSAL hurdlers anything less than unpredictable would be an understatement. At their qualifier, then unknown Sophia Meyers put in a NY #3 performance. At States, it was sophomore Paula Simon who threw major personal bests in every round, upsetting the favorites in the process. But it would be Victoria Jones-Alleyne to take the D1 title, separate from Feds, and reigning High Jump State Champ turned hurdler Hailey Rospierski to take the D2 title. | |||||
