It usually takes a season's best, or even better a personal best, to win the High Jump at the State Meet. Two girls did just that, to start the duel at 5-8. Faith Penny was the Indoor State Champ, while Sarah Kowpak had to watch from the sidelines with injury. Both cleared 5-8 by a good amount, but it would be Kowpak's clear attempt at 5-9 to seal the deal for the junior. Olivia Mooney does much the same to win D2. |
