After almost four years of nobody breaking 4:17, we get Boys and Girls blasting a 4x400m at their City Champs. On the surface, it would make them the heavy favorite, however, the field includes some other heavy hitters in the event. It is indisputable that Izaiah Brown is one of the best closers in New York State History when it comes to the 4x400m, and another 45.1 leg like at Nationals last year will put fear in any team ahead of them. Newburgh comes away as one of the top seeds, under 3:19, and could sweep the sprint relays. This is a race to watch. Homer and East Aurora will highlight the D2 fields. | |||||
