Paul Robeson Standout Kiambu Gall On The Fast Track In School And In The Sport

Brooklyn, NY - Many may know Paul Robeson as the sprint school that burst onto the scene in 2014, highlighted by a runner-up finish by their Girls' 4x400m at the Spring State Meet. They weren't lacking talent on the boys side either, as then-junior Kiambu Gall clocked a NY #3 performance of 34.00 in the 300m dash that Indoor Season.

With the 2015 Indoor Season looming, there were many expectations placed upon the boys of Robeson, highlighted by a feature story in the Daily News the February prior, titled, "End Zone: Robeson Track Star Has Finish Line In Sight". And yet, with all those endeavors, Senior Kiambu Gall decided to tack on another challenge; this time, in the classroom.

Enrolling in P-TECH (Pathways in Technology Early College High School), Gall now leaves high school with not only a High School Degree, but also a College Degree in computer systems technology. The program is the first of it's kind, with only 6 graduates. President Barrack Obama even came to Robeson High, meeting with Gall, after praising the school in his State Of The Union. Native Trinidadian Gall will be the first in his immediate family to graduate college. He will begin his career at IBM as an associate analyst at IBM Market Development & Insights.
