Two current high school athletes in Rai Benjamin and Kaylin Whitney will roll with big kids this weekend at the IAAF World Relays in Nassau, The Bahamas this weekend.

High school athletes Kaylin Whitney and Rai Benjamin will experience their first overseas international competition at the senior level this weekend at the IAAF World Relays in Nassau, The Bahamas.

Whitney, formerly of East Ridge High School (FL), will represent Team USA in the 4x200-meter relay. The high school junior anchored Team USA to runner-up honors in The USA vs. The World 4x100-meter relay last weekend at The Penn Relays Carnival with a time of 43.79. The World Relays will be Whitney's first experience competing overseas at the senior level. The junior, currently in online school, signed a professional contract with Nike on her 17th birthday in March.

Benjamin (Mount Vernon, NY) will represent Antigua and Barbuda in the 4x200-meter relay. He holds dual citizenship with the United States and the island nation, which he represented at the Carifta Games with a 46.19, runner-up finish in the Under-20 Boys 400m Dash earlier this month. He also competed at Penn Relays last weekend, earning runner-up honors in the High School Boys 400mH Championship with a nation-leading time of 51.29.

Benjamin is better known for his 400-meter prowess, but said his team has a better shot to make the finals for the 4x200m.

"I'm excited," he said via text. "It should be fun."
