SECTION 1 GIRLS OPEN RANKINGS - WEEK 1 - 9/09
Arlington-AAGreat up front and depth - looked really good at Washingtonville
Suffern - AAHad a very nice start at Washingtonville.  Class AA should be a battle all season long.
Bronxville-CHaven't raced yet but with Fallanery, Clarke, Miers and others back, they'll be tough to beat again.
Ursuline-AA front three that could be the best in the Section by the end of the year, It's all about who will step up as #4 and 5.
Carmel-AAWith Reese out for the early part of the season and some other question marks, Carmel should be a team that comes on late.  They should move up come October.
Pearl River-BShooting for their 30th straight Sectional Championships in XC, this team should be a pack style team with some new girls stepping up.
Horace Greeley-AThey'll be in it for the win in Class A, you can bet on that.  They have enough talent and history to give Ursuline a run for it.
North Rockland-AANice start at Breen Invitational.  Great front 3-4 and could easily move up the rankings.
Tappan Zee - ARumor has it that Emma Miller-Bedell is running XC.  If so, TZ will have a great chance at winning the Class A title.
Albertus Magnus-CBring back almost everybody from a team that was top tten last year.  McGowan is very good.
