MileSplit HQ - Below, we present to you, who we feel are the "Top 10 Athletes Most Likely To Break The 300m National Record" in order of who we feel is most likely. Of course, the order is only opinion, based mostly on availability of the opportunity to have the right situation to strike. There are plenty of strong athletes who either do no participate in Indoor Track in their state, do not have access to hyper-competitive fields, or do not have a specific focus on the 300m event in their state. With that said, take a look below, and if you disagree, go out there and prove us wrong. An interesting note, of the top 5 athletes, two are of Jamaican descent, while another represents Antigua. There are also several strong athletes that didn't quite make the top ten, but shouldn't be forgotten. In no specific order, those are: Byron Hearst (NY), Grant Holloway(VA), Rico Gomez (MD), Jaron Flournoy (MI), and Andrew Hudson (TX).
