Girls 1000m

State of the Action: Originally entered in the Invite Mile, Jazmine Fray (Kellenberg) thought she had skirted the 1000m distance too long. The states top returner in the event came out and broke 3mins, but has stronger competition this year in the event.

Girls Mile

State of the Action: It a battle of the boarding schools at the front of the pack. Paris Calcagnini of Sacred Heart set out strong in the early laps, but Hackley's Julia Stevenson struck at just the right time to take the win in a strong mark.

Girls 3000m

State of the Action: It's been hard to find competition that will stay with Bella Burda (Arlington) in the distance races. That is, unless you count the out-of-staters that pulled her to a sub-5 mile in the first week of competition. She lowers her own State/National leading mark to win the race, but will need to drop down below 9:45 if she has State Title thoughts at that distance.
