New Rochelle's Luke Holtzman was the only man to break 17 minutes in the race, clicking off a win at 16:58.43. However, Pine Bush put an impressive 5 in the top 10 to win the team competition.
Boys Varsity B
Cornwall begins their sweep of the B race, which saw many athletes under 17 minutes. Leading them was senior Aidan Doyle of Cornwall, who was the only athlete under 16-minutes. However, what turned out to almost be a dual meet, it was Brewster who snuck their top 5 in first to grab the team title.
Girls Varsity A
Kamryn McIntosh of Suffern rebounded from a relaxed 2013 XC season to kick off with an individual win over three miles. Her single digit scoring also aided the mounties in a team victory, despite Suffern sitting out both Kate Zendell and Rachel Ludwikowski. The team was ranked third in the preseason previews, and proved why today.
Girls Varsity B
Again, Cornwall looked strong up front, with Beatrice Boylan taking the overall win in the fastest time of the day. Their low scoring numbers through their 4th girl gave them a healthy lead on the field.
