Who's Missing: Sachem North's Alyssa Leto, as well as Catarra Burroughs have been taking the 55m by storm, so we'll be watching to see if they break through.

Breakdown: The top returner may not maintain that position, as the mark comes from a handtimed meet. Symone Darius looks to be a top contender in the nation after her top finish at Indoor Nationals.
Who's Missing: Zola Golden had a break out junior year indoor season, and could very well break onto the national scene this spring. Amanda Crawford is another name which could break out soon.
400m
Breakdown: Emma Gallagher is the top returner here, but if things run like last year, Gallagher will focus again on the hurdles. Look for Golden to dominate.
Who's Missing: Halie Snyder broke onto the scene late indoors, and will look to make a bigger splash this spring. Ceara Watson's sister, Sammy, could also be a contender.
800m
Breakdown: With Mary Cain moving on, Jazmine Fray looks to dominate the 800m, after winning the All-State heat of the 800m at Indoor Nationals.
Who's Missing: It's tough to find a breakout star here, but one could look at the ressurgance of the PSAL, as Shaniqua Kirkpatrick and Yazmin Wilson-Jones have been running well lately.
1500m
Breakdown: If State's was any indication, the run for the title could be very, very close. Laura Leff and Annika Avery will be in full swing, and Guevera will be in it too.
Who's Missing: Paige Duca broke onto the scene late at the tail end of the winter season, and will be a major player.
3000m
Breakdown: Some of the biggest changeups here, as Katie Lembo has been consistent, and Megan Reilly has been running well again lately.
Who's Missing: Notice some missing names? Not all are freshmen either. Branch, Lawson, Wheeler, Flynn, and more come back, as well as Tasselmyer under a new training regime.
2000m Steeple
Breakdown: Laura Leff returns in better shape than last year, and could very well dominate the event.
Who's Missing: This will come down to who wants to make the transition from mid-pack 3K runner, to frontrunning Steepler at the State Meet.
100m Hurdles
Breakdown: Ashley Wiggins took home the title indoors, and returns as the top seed again Outdoors.
Who's Missing: Ellery Bianco of Saratoga made the transistion to hurdles indoors, and could hop in the rankings outdoors.
400m Hurdles
Breakdown: Emma Gallagher was the top seed last year, and returns as such this year.
Who's Missing: Could Shayla Broughton make an impact in the longer hurdles? We'll find out if she chooses the event this year.
Long Jump
Breakdown: McKayla Brooks returns for th next two years, but Imani McGhee made the big jump indoors to be state leader
Who's Missing: Kaylyn Gordon wasn't even on the radar last year, but enters as a favorite this year. Niamani Morrison also proves strong.
Triple Jump
Breakdown: McKayla Brooks made the leap over 40feet this winter, and Anisa Toppin jumped well indoors as well.
Who's Missing: Again, Kaylyn Gordon enters as a favorite newcomer, as well as Rochester's Imani Obieke.
High Jump
Breakdown: Shayla Broughton returns as the top seed, winning Indoors, as well as having Faith Penny and Lauren Hudson in the hunt as well.
Who's Missing: Tessa Artuc has made some big progress here, as well as Nina Zesky.
Pole Vault
Breakdown: Kari Stromhaug went above and beyond her success last year, and returns as a top contender.
Who's Missing: Sam Beyar has made leaps and bounds in her personal bests, and now moves to a state contender.
Shot Put
Breakdown: If winter was any indication, there are a littany of options here for the States top contender.
Who's Missing: HHH West's Oyinkansola Adewale may be a senior, but she broke through this year indoors, with a mark of 42-2.
Discus
Breakdown: Jess Dhaliwall let one loose early in the season, and if she can translate a 47-7 foot put into her Disc throwing, it should be a long one.
Who's Missing: We'd like to think Adewale could have an effect here as well.
