MileSplit NY - Well, we are stuck in transit all day tomorrow, so we thought to give you a glimpse at some of the relays that made their way to North Carolina. Many of these relays have seniors on the squad, and the meet serves as the last time these quartets will be competing together. Another great year covering XC, Track, and Field in NY, and to our seniors, we salute you!
New Rochelle started the weekend right, placing 3rd in the Championship 4x200m
Monroe-Woodbury made the trek down, and it has some medals to show for it.
Suffern took a swing at the SMR Championship, and landed on the podium
Warwick Valley ran very well in the SMR, earning All-American
Half Hollow Hills had an amazing weekend, always seeming to make the podium
New Rochelle also came back to take second overall in the shuttle hurdle relay
Fordham Prep, who also placed Indoors, took All-American in the boys Shuttle Hurdle
East Aurora, of NXN Fame, placed very well in the unseeded girls 4x800m
Warwick's 4x800m ran a very strong 9:05 to place overall
Northport boys made a close run at Fayetteville-Manlius' State Record in the 4xMile
Pearl River boys took the trip down, where anchor leg Brian Cook also participated in the 2000m Steeple
Finally. A strong state record gets taken down by the girls 4x100m from Medgar Evers
Carmel runs stong in the boys DMR
As do the boys of Rush-Henrietta
Warwick returned to take second in the girls DMR
And Suffern is back on the podium in 6th place
