MileSplit HQ - Its an interesting week here at MileSplit. Eastern's is later than ever this season, putting the last tune-up for states monday afternoon. We have all that coverage right below. But first comes the nitty-gritty part of the job. Personally, I hate making predictions. I think it discredit's the "being the best on the day when it matters most" mentality of the sport. If I was always right, or the rankings always proved true, the sport would not be interesting.
Below, you will find my best guess for the final medal counts of the two competitions. On the left is the overal, which includes the 3 seperate federations. On the right is the NYSPHSAA competition, which removes the CHSAA, PSAL, and AIS teams. I have combined the genders, and removed the intersectional relay for the totals. What is left is the combined amount of Gold Medals per section. Make your own pick's in the comments section, and prove me wrong at the State Meet!
