I am a huge H.S. track and field fan. I ran at Msgr. McClancy H.S. 81-85. PRs 2:04 half and 4:42 mile. Ran freshman yr at Rider University in N.J. but called it quits after that. My father John ran at Manhattan College and was the leadoff for the W.R. 2 mile relay (7:32.8) at the 61 Millrose games. We enjoy going to the armory and Van Cortlandt for all the H.S. meets. Can't wait for the coming year, the Manhattan Invitational is usually our first XC meet. Dad is recently retired and I am employed as a Radiologic Technichian with very flexible hrs so we plan on making as many meets as we can this year. Dad is sad to see Millrose leave the garden while I am thrilled to have it at the armory. He likes the relays, I prefer the open races. One thing we both agree on is GO MARY CAIN!!! It's going to be a great 2011-12.
