I started competing in track and Field back in the mid 1960's. I competed for JHS 22 on the Lower East Side, Seward Park H.S., Far Rockaway H.S., Hunter College,and Bronx CC.

My events were 60yd, 60m, 100yd, 100m, 220yd, 200m, 440yd, 400m, 660yd, 600m 800m, Long Jump, 60HH, 110HH, 400IH, 4x100,4x220, 4x200,4x440, 4x400, 4x880, and 4x800Relays.

I competed at the Armory when the track was made of wood and you dare not fall. I ran with some of the best high school runners; Brady Crain, Andre Dugard, Kevin Price, Kevin McBride, Melvin Richardson, Willie Smith and many more. I am presently a USATF and PSAL Official. I try to stay involved in track. I have coached my Military team to 3 Penn Relay Meets 2005,06,07.

I am a 20yr. retired NYC Correction Officer and competed at the Police Olympics in 94,95 and 96.

2008 was my last race which was the 1 mile walk.

I'm also a 33yr. Army Vet. and tried out for the All-Army Team back in 1979-80 on Ft. Benning, GA.
