Suffern Invitational Suffern boys win first invitational in 8 years. Suffern's Shelby Greany leads mates to win. Tappan Zee's Emma Miller Bedell makes XC debut with strong 18:05 effort. Miller Bedell ran 2:08 last spring in the 800m. Cornwall boys and Shaker boys also win team titles as do the Warwick Vallet girls, led by Lillian Greibesland. New York XC tends to start a little slower than the rest of the country. I look around at most other states and they have all of these huge early season meets, while in NY, most teams haven't even opened up yet while others are going to some smaller meets scattered around the state.
