*Athletes are limited to one individual running event and a relay or one field event and a relay

In the weight throw, teams are limited to 3 varsity athletes per gender

*There will be separate competition for freshman and varsity athletes.

*PSAL assigned I.D. numbers must be worn by all competitors

*the "six-twelve" rule is in effect for this meet. This rule requires that all PSAL teams must maintain a minimum of twelve athletes on roster, six of whom must compete on the day of a PSAL meet.

*Any athlete who competes with a competitor number other than his/her own will be disqualified from the meet.

*Check- in cards are required for all events. Cards must be completely filled out and include the PSAL I.D. number of each athlete.

* In the high jump and pole vault, frosh and varsity athletes will compete together

freshman compete first followed by Varsity.

*Medals will be awarded to the top five freshman finishers and top four varsity finishers.

*In the weight throw/long jump each competitor will receive 3 attempts. *The first mark by weight throwers and long jumpers will be recorded subsequently the remaining marks must meet the standard set forth by the games committee. If the marks are less than the standard then the marks will not be measured

**Open pit- The long jump will be run as an open pit. When the event is called, ALL contestants for the event must sign- in, get their steps and run-throughs. Once competition starts, only run-backs (from the board back to the runway) are permitted. No run-throughs into the pit are permitted. When the pit is closed, a "time for competition" will be determined by the Referee in conjunction with meet management. It is the responsibility of the athlete to take his/her jumps during this time. The athlete must wear their assigned PSAL number.

*Although not a mandated meet, this event may be credited to the indoor track requirement of 10 meets for the 2016-17 season.

Doors open 8:00 am. Coaches meeting - 8:20 am.

8:25 am. - Running events, weight throw, long jump and pole vault competition begins. The High Jump will begin at the conclusion of the Invitational 55.
