Local High School Race Walkers Selected to Compete at Millrose Games
Local high school race walkers, Abby Dunn and Nicole Court-Menendez were selected by the 2012 Millrose Games Committee to compete in this years 105th running of the MIllrose Games Track and Field Meet to be held in New York City on February 11th. For Abby, a senior at Edward Little High School in Auburn, this will be her second time participating. Abby is one of the top ranked junior race walkers in the country and will be looking to improve on her time from last year. Nicole, a senior at Lewiston High School and Abby's long time training partner, will be making her first appearance at the meet. Both girls are looking forward to competing against some of the best race walkers in the country and using this race as a precursor for High School Nationals which will be held next month.
Also entered in the field is former Maine HS standout Lauren Forgues.
