New York, NY – Junior Jessica Balling (Seaford, NY/MacArthur) and senior Amanda Gland (Woodbury, CT/Nonnewaug) both competed at the NYU Fast Track Invitational at the Armory in New York, NY. Balling finished with her second best time in the 500 meter dash, while Gland took second place out of 18 athletes in the Long Jump at 5.51 meters.

Gland's second place finish in the Long Jump event highlighted the day for the women. Her 5.51-meter mark is her second-best distance this season. She also finished sixth out of 14 athletes in the Triple Jump with her fourth longest distance of the season (11.18 meters).

Sophomore Sheena Taylor (Twinsburg, OH/Detroit Mercy) will represent Wagner College in the ECAC Championships on March 6th. Taylor qualified for the event with a 16.64-meter mark in the Weight Throw on February 5th at the New Balance Invitational.
