Millrose Games Qualifying for the RACE WALK

 

One of the featured events at the Millrose Games is the USA 1 Mile Race Walk Championships

for men and women. Because of the narrow indoor track the field size is limited to
approximately 10 athletes. To be considered for selection to compete athletes must meet at least one of the following standards to be considered.

To be eligible to enter the athlete must have walked:

* Men - sub 7:00 for the mile or sub 13:25 for 3,000m or sub 22:30
for 5k
* Women - sub 7:55 for the mile or sub 15:10 for 3,000m or sub
26:00 for 5k.

The qualifying times will be used to seed the athletes. Marks achieved
between December 1st , 2009 and January 16th, 2010 will weigh heavier
than marks set prior to December 1st..

All requests for entry must be submitted using the form below. The
deadline for submitting is Monday, January 17th. Marks may be updated
after that date till January 23rd. Vince Peters will be coordinating
