Course Map

NXN NY Preview: On the girls side Fayetteville Manlius looks poised to win yet another NXN regional title and another berth to Portland.  This Manlius team has broken records set by last years amazing squad, and capped off the season with a state meet win where they beat rival Saratoga Springs with a perfect score of 15 points.  Saratoga will also be looking for a berth to Portland, with their strongest challenge coming from a solid Shenendehowa squad that finished just behind Saratoga at the Federation meet.  Queensbury and Monroe-Woodbury also look like strong contenders in the race.  On the boys side Fayetteville Manlius has looked strong all year and will be looking to earn another NXN berth.  North Rockland and Burnt Hills are also strong contenders.

NXN Northeast Preview: For the boys race Don Bosco (NJ) beat some very good teams at the NJ MOC and look very good for a berth to Portland.  Christian Brothers Academy (NJ) was right behind, and need a good showing to upset Bosco.  West Windsor Plainsboro North (NJ), is fronted by one of the best 1-2 punches in history with the Rosa twins, and can be dangerous if 3rd man John Squeri runs up to par.  Individually, Joe Rosa could take down another course record on his way to victory.  Germantown Friends (PA) has looked good all season and could challenge for a top-2 spot if they run well.  Haddonfield (NJ) has struggled lately, but if they return to form they can be dangerous as well.  For the girls race Lincoln-Sudbury (MA), are looking for their 3rd straight title.  Hillsborough (NJ) and Randolph (NJ) were separated by one point at their MOC, and will carry that momentum into the NXN battle.  Emmaus (PA) and the Faust twins would like nothing more than to qualify for Portland in their 3rd year coming to the meet with a chance.  LaSalle (RI) also looks like a strong contender.
