Eamon Burke came in as only the 6th seed but also top-ranked in CT, and captured the 1000m fairly comfortably as he and silver medalist Tyler Bartlett posted solid PRs. Class S's top two of Stonington teammates Ryan Gruczka and Ryan Orr picked up 3rd and 4th.

Gavin Sherry nailed down the state and meet record in the 1600m at 4:11.19, though he has run much faster times for the longer mile distance on faster tracks at Ocean Breeze and the Armory on days that he was running just that event. Callum Sherry came very close to also going under the old record, missing by just 0.03 seconds. Class S champ Sean Kennedy-Wonneberger, Class LL champ Nikita Omelchenko, and Class M champ Carver Morgan, and Liam Calhoun all set huge PRs for an official 1600m race in claiming the rest of the scoring places.

Gavin Sherry broke away about midway through to power through to a 9:06.52 in his third event of the day after his lead-off leg for Conard in the 4x800m and state-record 1600m win. Aidan Puffer hung with Sherry for awhile and wound up with a season's best, though neither he nor Sherry were close to the times they laid down as sophomores in the Open when Sherry set the state record 8:54.47 mark with Puffer close behind. Callum Sherry picked up the bronze to with his 1600m silver, Sean Kennedy-Wonneberger got 4th with a huge PR after his 1600m bronze, Eamon Burke got a PR after his 1000m gold for 5th, and Zachary Taubman also got a PR for an official 1600m for 6th .
