Boys Relays
On the boys' side, none of the top seeds won in the relays although all the champs were among the top three favorites. The action in the third section of the 4x100m was close, but Wilbur Cross got the win with a time that was almost the same as they ran in the Class LL meet while placing 2nd to top seeded Hall. Hall was also top seeded in the 4x400m, but this time it was Naugatuck that knocked them off for the win. Newington was 2nd seeded to Staples in the 4x800m, but the Indians won the final stretch battle over the Wreckers.
