Boys Sprints
Jason Lorent was the big favorite in the 100m and 200m, and he definitely took care of business, winning the 100m by 0.12 and the 200m by 0.37 with the same time he posted in the Class LL meet. It didn't matter that the Shelton senior was not in a middle lane in the 100m after posting the 6th fastest time in prelims. Greenwich junior Andrew O'Donnell dominated the 400m as expected with a PR time and then picked up a 4th in the 200m.
8th seeded Trumbull senior Dante Valentino picked up the silver in the 100m to edge fellow 8th seed Jaelyn Butler of Trinity Academy, Hillhouse junior Raphael Hawkins took the silver in the 200m to go along with a 5th in the 400m, and New Milford senior Jonathan Tarbet got the silver in the 400m.
