Girls 55 Meter Dash
St. Anthony's Halle Hazzard posted the top times in her heats in the prelimaries and semis, but in the finals Rush-Henrietta's Lanae-Tava Thomas kicked it up another notch and won the lean to triumph in a very fast 6.94 time. Vestal freshman Tia Jones picked up the 3rd place medal. Thomas got an individual double by soaring out to 19-4.75 in the long jump, and she also picked up a third gold by teaming with Sammy Watson, Tori Thompson, and Stephanie Nwachie to win the 4x200m relay.
