In 2015 Kam McIntosh broke the meet record set two years before by Sabrina Southerland, and both of those Beastly performances came with Kellenberg's Jazmine Fray as runner-up. Of course Fray was a decent enough 800m runner to win the NCAA outdoor title with Texas A&M in 2019. McIntosh's performance was especially impressive since she wasn't in her usual Beast situation -- getting the baton on an anchor relay leg with a few light years to make up and doing the job in what seemed to be microseconds. | ||||
