In 2016 as a sophomore, Lanae-Tava Thomas got her longest States jump in the D1 competition at 20-8, but it was wind-aided, and her 20-4 in the Championship round was short of the meet record. She did pass Jen Clayton's meet record by a half inch in 2017 when she leaped a Beastly 20-7.50 in the Championship event to win by almost 2 and a half feet. | ||||
