Mike Campbell sent the shot more than 11 1/2 feet further than he threw at last year's Open, and that was by far enough to capture this year's title at 58-6.5. Davon Colon threw more than two feet further than in the Class L meet to take 2nd at 54-8, while sophomore Gary Moore, Jr. took a break from his relay duties to nail down 3rd with a 51-2.75 throw. Marcus Ramsey was close behind at 51-0 for 4th. and Louis Tuccio and Ethan Wilkie took the last two scoring spots.
