The 4x200m revolves around pristine exchanges, and the top seed has not won this event the last two years. LL winner Wilbur Cross will therefore be trying to emulate Hamden's 2017 top-seeded champs, Reigning champ and S winner Bloomfield is seeded 6th after a light test last week, but the Warhawks are top ranked at 1:29.61 and came into last year's race as the 4th seed. The CT #2 team Hillhouse just ran a 1:31.31 at Eastern States but will not compete in the Open following a mess-up in its L race. M winner Law, L winner Hand, and LL runner-up Conard will be in the final seeded section, as will Brien McMahon with 55m star Korey Morton.
Record Hunt: Bloomfield has gone below the meet record this year at the Armory, so this one could happen.
