The 300m should be a classic when LL winner Caleb Owen, M champ Rayshon Jacobs, S winner Kymali Jacobs, L winner Ralphael Hawkins and teammate Talib McBride get together for a seeded section that will also include top-ranked and 600m favorite Simon Jupp (34.73). And the seeded guys still need to watch behind them (or before them), because every year some guys from the second or even first section come up for places, and in 2017 they even captured half of the scoring places. Jason Lorent and Keith Berrouet will be in the second section, but they are ranked in the state's top 6.
Record Hunt: Deshaune Poole got to within about a second of Daundre Barnaby's 2009 meet record last year, so a new mark is at least conceivable here in a very fast field.
