Summary: Fayetteville-Manlius scored a perfect 15 in the S3-A race last year, and it could happen again this year for the state's top ranked team, though Liverpool is 3rd ranked in Class A and overall is much closer to the Hornets than they were last year. This is a very strong field with five teams ranked in the top 30 in Class A, and there should be a close competition for 3rd place between CNS, Baldwinsville, and Central Square. FM's Geoff Howles and Garrett Brennan are running way out front, and one of them should pick up the individual honors.

Summary:  Last year's  S3-B winner was Westhill before it got moved down to Class C, and the scramble for the crown this year looks likely to fall to Jamesville-Dewitt after a decently solid performance at SCAC. Josh Farmer goes for a third straight individual title and looks ready to claim it.

Summary:  Westhill dropped down to the S3-C after winning up in B last year, and it looked ready to win this year with a good pack attack. But what appears to be a key injury have left them perhaps a little behind OHSL Liberty winner Skaneateles, and there are also a big gang of other teams ready to jump in, which is the usual state of affairs in S3-C. Tyler Fauvelle was 2nd last year, and he looks ready to take the honors this time.

Summary: Beaver River's margin over Sauquoit Valley last year was 4 points, but after winning a state championship and getting more strong development from younger runners, the Beavers are ready to roll in S3-D and at States. Colton Kempney was 2nd as an 8th grader, but now that he's all grown up as a freshman, he looks likely to capture the first of what could be a long string of individual titles.
